Welcome to Motkenon. We value your trust and are committed to protecting your personal data. This policy explains how we collect, use, and share information for both our Client App and Service Provider App.

1. Information We Collect

We aim for "Data Minimization," collecting only what is strictly necessary to provide our services.
For Clients (Homeowners/Users):
Account Data: Name, email address, and phone number.
Service Address: The location where the repair/maintenance is requested.
Real-time Location: To facilitate the service, we track your location when you have an active request so the provider can find you.
For Service Providers (Technicians):
Identity Data: Name, email, phone number, and a professional photo.
Verification Data: A copy of your National ID and relevant trade qualifications/certifications (required for safety and trust).
Location Data: To connect you with nearby clients, we track your precise location when you are "online" or "active" in the app.


2. How We Use Your Location

Location tracking is the core of the Motkenon experience:
Matching: We use the Provider’s location to suggest the nearest available technician to a Client.
Tracking: Once a request is accepted, the Client can track the Provider’s real-time movement toward the service destination.
Safety: Location data helps us ensure the safety of both parties during a service call.
Note: Providers are only tracked while the app is set to "Active" mode. Clients are only tracked during an active service request.


3. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your data. Information is shared only as follows:
Between Users: The Client sees the Provider’s name, photo, and location. The Provider sees the Client’s name, location, and phone number to complete the job.
Legal Compliance: We may disclose data if required by Saudi law or to protect the safety of our users.
Internal Support: Our admin team may access data to resolve disputes or technical issues.


4. Data Security and Retention

Security: We use encryption and secure servers to protect National IDs and personal contact info.
Retention: We keep your data as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your data, except where required by law (e.g., for tax or legal records).


5. Your Rights

Under the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law, you have the right to:
Access: Request a copy of the data we hold about you.
Correction: Update your name, phone number, or qualifications.
Erasure: Request that we delete your account and personal information.
Withdraw Consent: Stop location tracking at any time through your device settings (though this may limit app functionality).
